“The Dreamer’s Manifesto” Arrives

I’ve been inventing things most of my whole life. However, I’ve been busy/poor/preoccupied for a large part of my life, which means I thought stuff up, but didn’t always MAKE stuff up. Only software, where the cost to create is low, is where I did most of my inventing (yes, I know, software doesn’t sound like inventing, but if it’s a brand new program or game idea, it is).

In line with that, I’ve decided to publish my ideas, old and new, to spark other people’s creativity and encourage them to actually ‘go for it’ instead of waiting for a better opportunity (which rarely comes).

the Dreamers Manifesto“The Dreamer’s Manifesto: Thinking Big For A Greater Tomorrow”, is now done and available on Amazon. You can get it in paperback form via this link or on the Kindle by clicking here (and of course, they have free Kindle viewers listed here to view the book on pretty much any device or computer).

It’s a compilation of ideas I’ve had over the years, and a “how-to” guide for simple products that can make a big impact, like:

  • How to make a better search engine and replace Google (or Bing).
  • Community-based solar heating on the cheap.
  • Making a battery out of water.
  • Cheap (really cheap) ways to get to the moon, and live there.
  • How to have that Holodeck we’ve always wanted (kinda).

It’s priced to sell on Kindle (under $5) so I hope you consider getting a copy. It was a great opportunity for me to write about some of my favorite projects, and acknowledge that I like to make things – even if primarily inside my head for the most part!

And more importantly, if this book (or one like this) encourages YOU to create something that makes the world a better place in some way, it will have done its job as a ‘manifesto’…

  1. Hi Dave,

I’m very glad to hear you stepped out of the box and put aside all those things that preoccupied you and actually made a model of your braille invention! I too am an inventor (of the preoccupied variety) so I totally understand where you are coming from. It IS encouraging to read about somebody just doing it. Thanks for that and best of luck with all your other soon-to-be-tangible inventions. 😀
