So I was all excited to get a few photos of the lunar eclipse here in Victoria, BC – but we got serious cloud cover all night.

My nephew did get to see it in Winnipeg (one of the few Western Provinces without cloud cover) but he had -14C temperatures, so I decided warm-and-no-eclipse was better than eclipse-and-no-feeling-in-the-fingers.

On the bright side, we are slated for quite a few over the next year or two (as this page shows), so I’ll have to stay warm and console myself until then.
